Our science

Leading the way with groundbreaking immunotherapies

Immunotherapy works by deploying antibodies to help the body’s immune system identify and destroy cancer and other diseases. At Y-mAbs, we are developing several strategies to guide the immune system for more precise and effective treatment.

Alongside monoclonal antibody therapies, Y-mAbs is researching, developing and optimizing other types of antibody-based therapies to potentially treat cancer and other diseases more effectively, including radioimmunotherapy. The principle for radioimmunotherapy is based on the specificity of monoclonal antibodies to target the tumor or disease cells. Subsequently, the radioactive payload irradiates the targeted tumor or disease cells for precise killing. Y-mAbs’ work develops both 1-step and 2-step antibody-based radioimmunotherapies.

Our pipeline

In addition to exploring additional indications for our commercial product, Y-mAbs is developing antibody-based therapies designed to address some of the most challenging diseases affecting children and young adults starting with cancers, including neuroblastoma and osteosarcoma, as well as adults, including small cell lung cancer, melanoma, and non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.
